Once you get in a groove, it takes about 2 minutes per item. For an average wardrobe, this takes about 6-8 hours total. But, do the math based on the number of items in your own closet!
Our best advice is to break things down to avoid getting overwhelmed. Do just a little at a time, starting with your most worn items and you'll be done sooner than you think!
Our photo-processing software automatically removes the background and leaves you with a clean image of your item. If you’re not one for taking photos, grabbing the flat-lay photo from the brand or retailer you bought the item from is a great hack to make the process even more painless. Save these images to your camera roll and upload them straight to the app just like you would your own photos.
Not everyone has the time or patience to catalog their own wardrobe. It’s a big job! That’s exactly why we offer our white-glove solution: The Catalog.
This service allows you to make an appointment for you for a professional Indyx Archivist to visit your home and digitize your wardrobe without you lifting a finger. We will take beautiful flat-lay photos and capture key information for each of your items, all while you are free to work, play, or relax.
