General

  • Yes! You can download our android app from the Google Play Store, linked here

  • Sometimescertain settings on your email or browser can block our authentication process, and unfortunately, it’s not something we’re able to fix on our end.

    The easiest solution? Try signing up using Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple to bypass email authentication entirely. It’s quick, secure, and works seamlessly. 

  • On the Indyx app home screen, tap “Already have an account? Log in.”

    • If you originally signed up with email, choose Sign in with Email to check if your account exists under that address.

    • If you used Apple to create your account, make sure to select Sign in with Apple again — this will take you back to the same account.

  • At the moment, we cannot support email address changes.

    If you ever run into access issues, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to help.

  • For privacy and security reasons, Indyx accounts are non-transferable. We do not support transferring account ownership at this time.

  • Yes! You can find all our tutorials on the Indyx YouTube channel. We walk you through everything from getting started to making the most of new features. Don’t forget to subscribe so you stay up to date!

  • Not yet! We are working on it! 

  • Nothing! We only use your data to display it back to you in the app. We don’t sell it or share it with third parties.

    In the future, we may share completely anonymized, aggregated insights (never anything personally identifiable) to help show how real people use their wardrobes, and hopefully inspire change in the fashion industry.

  • Absolutely — we understand how important it is to have access to your own data. Just send us a note at [email protected], and we’ll work with you to provide a personalized solution.

  • Just give your phone a shake while the Indyx app is open — this will launch our bug reporting tool. You can include screenshots or a screen recording to help us understand what went wrong. We appreciate you helping us improve!

  • You can permanently delete your account anytime by going to Profile → Account Settings → Permanent Deletion in the app.

    Please note: this action is irreversible. All of your personal and wardrobe data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Insider Membership

  • The Insider Membership unlocks premium in-app features like Analytics, Selfies, Inspiration, and more — tools to help you better understand and use your wardrobe.

    The Feed is a personal styling subscription where a real stylist sends you weekly outfit ideas tailored to your closet and style.

    Many of our members subscribe to both! Insider gives you the tools, and The Feed gives you the expert. Together, they make getting dressed even easier and more inspiring.

  • The Insider Membership unlocks premium features that help you get even more value from your digital wardrobe — including Analytics, Selfies, Inspiration, and more.

Wardrobe Digitization

  • First, double-check that you’re connected to WiFi.

    If you’re uploading a product photo from the web, make sure it’s in PNG or JPG format — you can usually find this information in your photo library. Not sure about the format? Just take a quick screenshot of the image and try uploading that instead!

    If you’re still having trouble, feel welcome to reach out to us at [email protected]. Or even better, shake your phone to submit a bug within the app. That automatically gives us information about your version, device, and connection that helps us solve your issue faster.

  • You can schedule a wardrobe cataloging appointment directly in the Indyx app. Just head to the “Style” tab — the service is called “The Catalog.” We currently offer The Catalog in select cities, and you’ll see the available locations listed before booking your appointment.

  • To help us serve all clients fairly and respect our archivists’ time, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to make changes to your appointment.

    • Rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a $100 rescheduling fee.

    • Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment are considered forfeited and are not eligible for refund.

Personal Styling Services

  • You can book personal styling services right in the Indyx app under the “Style” tab. Choose the experience that fits your needs: The Feed, The Lookbook, or The Call. Each one offers a unique way to get personalized outfit ideas from your personal stylist.

  • We recommend that you take our Style Quiz to better understand your own style. You can then be matched with personal stylists who reflect similar style.  You can also filter personal stylists based on reviews, specialty and novelty. Shortlist a stylist by adding them to your favorite list. 

  • Absolutely! The Feed is designed so you can get styling ideas from multiple perspectives at once. You’ll find all your active feeds under the Style tab in the app.

  • We never want you to walk away feeling disappointed. If something’s not working, just email us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to make it right.

    If you’d like to try a different stylist, you can start a new subscription in the app anytime: no pressure, no hard feelings!

  • You can cancel The Feed anytime right in the app.

    Just a heads-up: your subscription ends immediately when you cancel. If you’d like to enjoy the full value of your monthly subscription, be sure to check the renewal date listed with each Feed before canceling.

  • Your Lookbook credits are automatically applied in the app when you book a Lookbook. No extra steps needed!

  • Lookbook credits can be used for any non-subscription styling services, including The Lookbook, The Catalog, and The Call. If applicable, your credit will automatically be redeemed at checkout.

    However, Lookbook credits cannot be applied to any subscriptions, including The Feed or an Insider membership
